
We needed a drink after our visit at the über interactive Science Museum in Tokyo with the backdrop of frantically excited kids.
The exhibits featured a range of cleverly put together interactive installations that captured advanced concepts in an explicit and inventive way.
Howard was rather taken up by the Aurora simulation (which also had an advantage having few buttons for kids to push making this space the quietest), a miniature simulation showing light caught by a magnetic field making it dance near the poles of the sphere. It used real a magnet field and an electrical generator to produce light.
For me, it was fascinating to meet the receptionist (robot) and engage in a "lost in translation" dialogue.
